Objectives: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is the most commonform of diabetes. Todetermine the similarities of development of T2DMbetween rhesus monkey [Macaca mulatta lasiotis (M. m. lasiotis)] andhuman being, the clinical parameters were determined during a period of2 years in 60 adult male rhesus monkeys (M. m. lasiotis).
